Alexis Sanchez has joined River Plate on loan from Udinese. The Chilean player is known as "El Niño Maravilla" (the Wonder Kid) in his homeland. Last season Sanchez played for Colo Colo on loan, but appears to have chosen River Plate this year.
Udinese had paid $3m for his signature, and it is believed he will become one of the first choice strikers at River Plate.
