Benfica midfielder Enzo Perez had attracted interest from a host of clubs in Europe over the summer, but he opted to stay at Estádio da Luz.

However, Superdeporte claims that the Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is keen on adding the talented midfielder to his setup, and will make a move for his services when the transfer window reopens in January.

The report adds that the Primeira Liga giants are unlikely to settle for anything less than £25m for the 28-year-old.
