Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that defender DeAndre Yedlin will join the club in the New Year.
The USA international signed a four-year deal at White Hart Lane from Seattle Sounders over the summer, and was loaned back for the rest of the season.
Recent reports revealed that the talented full-back could be recalled by Spurs in January, following the conclusion of the MLS season.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that Yedlin will join the North London outfit in January such that he gets a chance to adapt to Premier League football.
"It is important for his development that he is given the time to adapt to his new surroundings both on and off the pitch. We believe that by coming to us in January it will give him the best opportunity to do so." He said.
Tottenham play away at Leicester City in the Premier League on Boxing Day.
