Inter Milan make late bid to sign Scott Sinclair

Inter Milan have made a surprise bid for Man City winger Scott Sinclair. The former Swansea City player had been expected to join Aston Villa.

Sinclair is said to be ready to move abroad if necessary to resurrect his footballing career and will follow the lead of Micah Richards, who joined Fiorentina last year, in order to prove himself at the highest level.

Paul Lambert, the Aston Villa coach, had been in talks with Sinclair and it was rumoured that a deal would be announced this week.

However a last ditch effort from Inter Milan for the forward could prove too difficult for Aston Villa to mach.
