Dimitrov's Arsenal trial

Nikolay Dimitrov is reportedly on trial with Arsenal. The Levski Sofia winger / forward is highly rated in his homeland Bulgaria, playing for the Under-21's. Dimitrov's trial begins tomorrow morning.

The Bulgarian club's official website has now reported that the 20 year-old left-winger will be training in London with Arsenal on a week-long trial, on the invitation of Arsene Wenger.



A talented, young left-footed winger, Dimitrov could be a great asset to an Arsenal squad which has abundant talent, but not a single out-and-out winger. The general consensus amongst Arsenal fans during the summer was that the club needed a left winger, and while the rise of Alex Hleb has pleased many, Wenger could be set to add Dimitrov to his squad for around £3 million.
