According to Nairobi News, The Viola are keen on signing a top-class defensive midfielder during the winter transfer window, and will try to lure the Kenyan skipper into a switch to the Serie A.

The report adds that Fiorentina would require a fee in the region of £25m to have any chance of sealing a deal for the 23-year-old.
