The Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is keen to make up for the loss of Samuel Etoo, who left Merseyside for Sampdoria recently.

Widespread reports reveal that Martinez is eager to sign up a top-class striker during the winter transfer window, and considers AC Milan\'s Stephan El Shaarawy as his top transfer target.

Everton are likely to make an offer for the Italian international before the conclusion of the transfer window.
