Tottenham line up Nani

Spurs are reportedly keen to snap up Portuguese winger Nani on loan from Man Utd for the rest of the season. The ex-Sporting Lisbon midfielder has fallen down the pecking order at United, and the Manchester giants are keen to let the player go on loan to gain some Premiership experience.

  • The Portuguese played has failed to nail down a first team place at the club, unlike the player he arrived with in the summer, Anderson. He has scored twice in the Premier League against Spurs and Middlesbrough respectively.

Nani joined the club back in the summer from Sporting Lisbon for a fee believed to be in the region of £14-17 million and the Star says that a figure of around £20 million would be needed to lure him away from Old Trafford.

Alternatively, Sir Alex Ferguson is believed to be considering a move away on loan for the Portuguese midfielder.
