Heskey wants quick comeback

Heskey wants quick comeback

18 December 2007 - 11:50

Emile Heskey has announced that he hopes to make a swift recovery from his injury after suffering an ankle injury in the 5-3 victory over Blackburn at the weekend. Heskey thinks he can return within 2 weeks.

  • Man Utd expecting €80m boost with double player sale
  • Confirmed Liverpool line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Galatasaray, Salah starts
  • Heskey told Sky Sports: "It's not too bad and it's actually better than we'd feared.

"I had a scan straight after I came off to make sure it wasn't broken or anything. It's better than I thought, so hopefully in a week or so it will be okay.

"Fulham away is probably a bit too early for me. Aston Villa we'll have a look at that and see how it goes from there."
