Man Utd after Lahm

Man Utd after Lahm

18 December 2007 - 19:15

Manchester United are ready to prize away Bayern Munich's versatile defender Philipp Lahm. The German international defender is considered one of the best young prospects in Europe, and Man Utd could have to pay in the region of £12 million to seal his signature.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Man Utd, who are set to announce record profits next month, could be ready to release some cash for the versatile 24-year-old.

Lahm can play on either flank and with doubt hanging over Wes Brown's future at the club, Lahm could be the long term successor to Gary Neville, report The Times.
