Martin Olsson set for move to Swansea City

Norwich City defender Martin Olsson will this afternoon complete a move to join Welsh club Swansea City. The Swedish defender has been offered a two and a half year contract and is undergoing a medical today.

  • The left back has spent just over a year and a half at Carrow Road but has decided to make a return to the Premier League with the Swans. Swansea's coach Garry Monk contacted Olsson back in December of last year and instructed his board to push through a deal as soon as possible.

    Olsson has over 25 caps for the Swedish national team and will double his salary with a move to the Premier League side. The fee that Swansea City will pay is undisclosed.
