Patrice Evra is patiently waiting to hear from Man Utd regarding a new contract. Evra wants a four-year deal after impressing for the last two seasons at left back for the Reds. Evra still has over a year left on his current deal.
He admits the club have taken no steps to begin talks but hopes the situation will be sorted out as soon as possible.
Evra told the Daily Express: âI have one year left after this one. People keep talking to me about it. They think I have extended my contract.
âBut that is not true. We have not even started to discuss it.
âIt is said that the club want to prolong (the contract), but there is nothing for the moment.
âWhat do I want? You will not get me talking about that.â
