Montenegrin star Stevan Jovetic is considered as a top transfer target for Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The Reds boss Brendan Rodgers will seek to strengthen his attack front in the summer, and the signing of a top-class striker remains his main priority.
According to The Mirror, Jovetic will be heading out of City for a fresh challenge at the end of the season.
The report adds that Rodgers is ready to allow the striker to prove his critics wrong by offering him a stay in the Premier League.
