The Reds boss Brendan Rodgers will seek to strengthen his attack front in the summer, and the signing of a top-class striker remains his main priority.

According to The Mirror, Jovetic will be heading out of City for a fresh challenge at the end of the season.

The report adds that Rodgers is ready to allow the striker to prove his critics wrong by offering him a stay in the Premier League.

Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan are also monitoring the proceedings.
