Crystal Palace are likely to make a record offer to land the services of Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk in the summer.
Eagles boss Alan Pardew is believed to be keen on strengthening his squad in the off-season, and considers the need of a new centre-back as his number one priority.
According to The Mirror, Pardew is hopeful that the prospect of playing Premier League football could appeal the former Netherlands Under-21 international into a summer move to the club.
The report adds that the Eagles would require a fee of around £10m to land the Dutchman\'s signature.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have been previously linked with moves for the 23-year-old.
