Juventus have been associated with the player's services in recent weeks, but Sport claims that Barcelona have become the latest club to show interest in signing the former Wolfsburg star.
Dzeko has been impressive in City colours having scored 71 goals in 180 games.
Barcelona will look to sign Dzeko on a pre-contract, with their transfer embargo due to end in January 2016.
