Manchester United have reportedly made approach to sign FC Porto defender Rolando.
The 29-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at the Primeira Liga giants and has been sent out on loan to Anderlecht for the rest of the campaign.
The Express reports that United boss Louis van Gaal has contacted the Portuguese outfit regarding a potential move for the player in the summer.
It is also understood that Rolando could be sold for a bargain price, with his existing deal set to expire at the end of the next season.
