England international Ashley Young is believed to be on the verge of signing a new three-year deal at Manchester United.

The talented winger had a horror show for the club last season, and this led to the speculation that he could be offloaded in the summer.

However, the arrival of Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford has led to his resurgence, and he is now considered as an integral part of the first-team.

According to Goal.com, Van Gaal is keen on extending Young's stay at the Theatre of Dreams by offering him a three-year contract extension.

Young has scored three goals in 29 games for United this season.
