Under fire Manchester City coach Manuel Pellegrini is confident that his long term future remains at the Etihad Stadium. A disappointing title defence has brought Pellegrini's future into question.

However, the Chilean boss is certain that he will stay at the club next season and mount a renewed challenge for the Premier League title.

"I am not thinking about next year. I have a contract for one year more," said Pellegrini.

"I continue working because I know I have the support of the owners, the players, the fans, everyone - so we need all of them behind the club for these last games.

"I don't feel any pressure about that. I am not thinking about the future."
