Manchester City are confident of sealing a summer switch for former Chelsea midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.

The Belgian international has been in excellent form since his switch to Wolfsburg in 2013.

The Mirror claims that the talented midfielder is now open to a move back to the English top flight, as he is eager to test himself at the biggest stage.

It is added that the Citizens are sure of signing up the midfield maestro on a player-plus-cash deal of around £35m with striker Stevan Jovetic likely to move the other way.
