Aston Villa are plotting a summer bid for Queen Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin, according to a report.

The 25-year-old has showed off his skills in the Premier League this season, having notched up 17 goals in 30 games for the Hoops.

Austin has been tipped to exit Loftus Road in the summer, with a host of Premier League clubs vying for his signature.

The Star claims that Villa are planning a summer offer in the region of £15m to sign up the former Clarets man.
