The Brazilian international has been with the Catalan giants since 2008, but is expected to leave Camp Nou with his contract expiring at the end of the season.

Reports in Spain claims that the 32-year-old is keen on a Premier League challenge, and will announce his departure from Barca at a press conference on Tuesday.

United are believed to be favourites to sign up the talented full-back, but they would have to match the player's wage demands of around £150,000-a-week.
