Real Madrid are closing in on the services of Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, according to a Spanish source.

The Spain international was one of the stand out performers for the Red Devils as they finished in fourth place in the league standings.

According to Marca, Los Blancos will pay £18.3m plus £3.6m in add-ons for the 24-year-old shot-stopper.

De Gea has made 175 appearances for United since his move from Atletico Madrid in 2011.
