Former West Bromwich Albion midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu is close to signing for Premier League newcomers Norwich City on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old is a free agent following his release from the Baggies at the end of last season.

BBC Sport claims that the Congolese midfielder is expected to seal his move to the Canaries in the next few days, where he will accompany former teammate Graham Dorrans.

Norwich City host Crystal Palace in their Premier League opener on August 8.
