Sevilla have sealed the services of Chelsea forward Gael Kakuta on a free transfer.

The 23-year-old joined the Blues in 2007 from French side Lens under controversial circumstances.

However, he struggled to force himself in to the first-team setup and had spent the past few seasons on loan at six different clubs.

Sevilla had kept track on the Frenchman's performances during his loan spell at Rayo Vallecano last season, where he scored four goals in 23 appearances.

It has now been confirmed that the Europa League Champions have reached an agreement to sign the talented winger on a permanent basis for a Bosman fee.
