West Ham United are regarded as front-runners to sign Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin this summer.
The former Burnley star was in top form for the R's last season, as he notched up 18 league goals for the club, but this was not sufficient to help them beat the drop from the top tier of English football.
Reports now cite that the talented marksman will make a move to the East London outfit in the upcoming week,
Austin is expected to snub a switch to Chelsea, as he is less likely to feature on a regular basis in the first-team setup.
