Manchester United forward Jesse Lingard has stated his desire to remain at the club next season.
The talented youngster has been sent out on loan in recent seasons, in order to gain valuable first-team experience.
Lingard now feels that he is at a level where he could compete for a spot in the first-team.
However, his chances of featuring in the starting line-up could be minimal, should United opt to sign a new striker during the upcoming transfer window.
In spite of being injured in the first-half of last season, Lingard made 15 appearances on loan for Derby County.
