The Belgian international is open to a return to the Premier League with a top club other than Chelsea.

De Bruyne has been in top form for the Wolves since his move from the Blues in January 2014, and this has attracted interest from the Citizens.

Reports in Germany cite that the former Premier League champions will make a mega £50m bid for the talented playmaker as they look to sway away interest from French giants Paris Saint-Germain.

The 24-year-old notched up 16 goals and 27 assists for the Bundesliga runners-up last season.
