West Bromwich Albion have reportedly had a bid rebuffed for Queens Park Rangers winger Matt Phillips.
Philips, who joined the R's from Blackpool in 2013, is well known for his excellent shooting ability infront of goal.
According to Sky Sports, the Baggies are understood to have failed with a £5m bid for the 24-year-old, who is keen on a move back to the Premier League during the summer transfer window.
It is added talks will go on between both clubs for the talented forward.
Philips scored three goals in 27 games for the West London side last season.
