Chelsea have been hit with another injury blow after finding out that Claude Makelele will be missing for three weeks after undergoing an ear operation. Makelele was suffering an issue with his ear that was having a detrimental effect on his balance.
"Makelele had a problem in his ear, a big problem that affected his balance even when he was walkingâ Avram Grant told The People.
"We didnât want to do it because we need every player, but he will be out for maybe three weeks."
Avram Grant has already hinted that he may be on the look out for midfielders in the January transfer window.
