Lazio: Pandev staying put

30 December 2007 - 23:44

Amidst a plethora of rumours circulating regarding the future of Lazio's striker Goran Pandev, the Rome club have moved to circulate a press release stating that they have no intentions whatsoever of selling their Macedonian.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The release according to goal.com stated: "S.S. Lazio want to reiterate that the footballer Goran Pandev, who has signed a long-term contract with the club, is unsellable and will continue playing with Lazio."

As we reported in October, <A HREF='http://www.eyefootball.com/news/1254/Bayern-after-Pandev'>Bayern were interested</A> in making a move for the Macedonian.

However, if Lazio are reluctant to sell their star striker now, it is believed that there is only a small chance they may sell in the summer.
