Stoke City are understood to have signed up free agent Glen Johnson, according to reports.

The England international was out-of-contract following his release from Liverpool earlier this month.

Multiple reports claim that the former Reds star has sealed a Bosman fee transfer to the Potters.The length of the deal has yet to be revealed.

Johnson could be in line to face Liverpool on the opening day of the new Premier League season.
