Carl Jenkinson signs new Arsenal deal

England international Carl Jenkinson has signed a new five-year contract at Arsenal ahead of his season-long loan move to West Ham United.

Jenkinson played his trade on loan at the Hammers last season, and was the club's first choice right-back.

The Telegraph cites that 23-year-old has inked a five-year deal with the Gunners, and will return to the East Londoners on loan for the 2015/16 season.

The talented defender joined the Gunners from Charlton Athletic in the summer of 2011.
