Liverpool are expected to announcing the signing of Belgian star Christian Benteke in the comings days.
The Belgian international has been denied his move to Anfield in recent weeks, with Villa unwilling to offload their star asset for anything less than £32m.
However, The Mirror now cites that the Reds have met the player's £32m buy-out clause, and are expected to seal the player's signature once he agrees to personal terms and has a successful medical.
Benteke was hugely influential in Villa's battle to beat the drop last season.
