Everton plan move for Virgin van Dijk

27 July 2015 - 10:14

Everton will look to make an offer for Celtic defender Virgin van Dijk, should John Stones seal his dream over to Chelsea this summer.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Stones has expressed his willingness to join the Premier League holders, who are expected to make an improved bid for the England international, having seen their initial £20m offer knocked back by the Toffees.

The Mail cites that the Toffees could seek to bring in Celtic's Dutch defender Van Dijk, should Stones make way from Goodison Park in the coming days.

It is added that Merseysiders are willing to pay as much as £10m to sign Van Dijk from Parkhead.
