Bramble happy under Bruce

Bramble happy under Bruce

02 January 2008 - 21:37

Wigan defender Titus Bramble has admitted he is playing well under new boss Steve Bruce. The Latics have seen a small turn around in their fortunes since Chris Hutchings left the club.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The Latics struggled since the start of the season under former manager Chris Hutchings but after Bruce took the charge at the JJB, they have shown improvement.

However, Wigan are still in the relegation zone as they take on Liverpool tonight.

"We certainly don't feel we're playing like a team in the bottom three since the new manager arrived," said Bramble.

"He has been fantastic, and if we continue to play the way we have then we should be out of the bottom three again pretty soon.

"But all he's done is gone back to basics and made sure we're a harder team to beat. It's been that simple.

"I now don't see any reason why we can't get out of this because we've the players and coaching staff to do it."
