The Red Devil were thought to be considering a move for the Portugal international who has been exceptional form for Los Blancos since his switch from Old Trafford in 2009.

Reports in Spain suggest that United will not follow up for the legendary forward, after the former European champions placed an £80m price tag on the 30-year-old.

Ronaldo has scored 313 goals in 300 goals for Real Madrid till now.
