The Spain international has made up his mind to join the former European champions this summer, but United have been reluctant to offload the goalkeeper for anything less than £28m.

According to Spanish source Marca, Los Blancos' officials will meet up with United to finalize a deal for the 24-year-old, whose mind has been disturbed by the recent negotiations.

De Gea was United's top performer as they clinched a Champions League qualification spot in the Premier League last season.
