Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has revealed that star goalkeeper David de Gea will not be considered for selection for tomorrow's Premier League opener against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Spain international has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer, and it is thought that the 24-year-old will seal his dream switch before the transfer deadline.
Van Gaal has now insisted that the talented shot-stopper will be left out of United first league game against Spurs due to the ongoing negotiations.
"David shall not play so I don't have any concerns [about him not being ready]," the Dutchman told reporters. "I think about the human being more than the player and I don't think he can handle that."
