Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has revealed that the club will not consider offers for club captain Jose Fonte.

The Saints’skipper has been associated with a switch to Aston Villa in recent days, in spite of him claiming that he would only leave for Champions League football.

According to The Mirror, Koeman has insisted that the player is not for sale in the transfer window.

The 31-year-old has earned four caps with the Portuguese national side.
