Sochaux have replaced defender Tosic who signed for Werder Bremen with Ebert William Amancio, otherwise known as Betao in a deal worth at least 1.5m EUR.
The 23 year old Betao had nearly played 200 games for Corinthians and was captain of the Brazilian side. The move is a coup for Sochaux who needed to fill in the defensive gap.
