Premier League newcomers Bournemouth are looking at the possibility of re-signing former star Jermaine Defoe, according to reports.
The England international had a successful loan stint at the Cherries during the 2000/01 season, where he scored 19 goals in all competitions for the club.
According to The Mirror, the veteran striker is seeking a new challenge before calling quits on his professional career.
It is added that he would be open to a move to the South Coast with Bournemouth, who are keen on adding experience to their side for the ongoing campaign.
