  • Spurs were said to be preparing a fresh offer for Berahino, after the Baggies knocked back their initial bid of around £18m.

It is now known that the Midlands outfit have rejected an improved financial package from Mauricio Pochettino's side.

"Our position remains unchanged. The sale of this player is not on our agenda," Baggies chairman Jeremy Peace told the club's official website.

The 22-year-old scored 20 goals in all competitions for his club last term.
