It had been recently reported that the Red Devils could move for Gaitan, having lost out on the signing of Pedro from Barcelona over the past week.

Portuguese daily A Bola claims that the Italian champions Juventus are leading the chase for the Argentine playmaker, who has been a consistent performer for his club in recent seasons.

It is added that the Turin outfit will look to snap the player's signature in the coming days, as they aim to strengthen their midfield setup ahead of next week's transfer deadline.
