German champions Bayern Munich have joined the pursuit for Everton defender Seamus Coleman, according to reports.

The Toffees are understood to have recently rejected an approach from Paris Saint-Germain for their talented full-back

However, The Star reports that Bayern Munich are the latest side to have joined the player's race and are ready to test Toffees' resolve with a tempting offer of around £18m.

The Republic of Ireland joined the Merseyside outfit from Sligo Rovers way back in 2008.
