Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings is expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering a major injury.
The 22-year-old went down injured six minutes into his league debut against Leicester City, before being stretchered off with an oxygen mask.
BBC Sport now confirms that the young defender could be absent for at least a year after he suffered torn anterior and medial ligaments.
Mings was bought from Ipswich Town for a club-record fee of £8m in June.
