John Stones good enough for Real Madrid

Stones could find himself at Real Madrid in future - Henry

John Stones good enough for Real Madrid

09 September 2015 - 11:34

Everton defender John Stones is good enough to play for Real Madrid in the future, according to former scout Tony Henry.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • The England international was the centre of attention during the summer transfer window, with Premier League champions Chelsea having failed in all their attempts to land the talented centre-back.

However, former Toffees scout Tony Henry believes that the 22-year-old has all the ingredients to develop himself into a top player, and this could earn him a big move to Real Madrid in seasons to come.

Stones joined the Toffees from League One side Barnsley for £3m in 2013.
