Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has dismissed the club's chances of challenging for the Premier League title this season.
United made a great start to the league campaign as they won back to back matches.
However, they have been since then faced setbacks having stumbled to a draw and a loss in their next two games.
Van Gaal has now revealed that the his club could end up second or third in the league, but are still far away from contesting with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City for glory.
United are currently in their third season running without a trophy in their cabinet.
