Chelsea will reportedly battle it out with Real Madrid for the services of highly-rated Porto midfielder Ruben Neves in January.
The Blues have had a dismal start to their league campaign and currently find themselves in 17th place with just four points.
According to The Express, Jose Mourinho's side have been tracking the 18-year-old for a while, and look set to make a January offer to land his signature.
However, the Blues could face stiff competition from Real Madrid who are also believed to be keeping tabs on the talented youngster.
Neves made 37 appearances for Porto last term.
