The former AC Milan man is currently plying his trade at Sao Paolo on loan from Corinthians.

Pato had been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League over the summer, and the 26-year-old has now revealed that the Red Devils had made a formal approach for his signature two hours before the transfer deadline.

He added that he was only told of the offer after the transfer window closed, and his focus now remains on performing for his side.
