Palace want long-term Gayle stay

Crystal Palace ready new deal for Dwight Gayle

30 September 2015 - 17:51

Crystal Palace are reportedly in talks over a new contract for striker Dwight Gayle.

  • Barcelona have genuine interest in Chelsea forward
  • Man Utd handed boost in signing West Ham star?

  • The 25-year-old joined the Eagles from Peterborough United in 2013, and has since then notched 12 league goals for the club.

Gayle was linked with a move away from Selhurst Park over the summer, but opted to remain at the club to fight for his place.

The Guardian now understands that Palace will seek to offer a long-term deal to the talented forward, after he got his first league start in the 1-0 win over Watford last weekend.
